I bought a Jeep Wrangler and was getting ready for a trip to Galveston with my mom and wife. The weather was scorching hot, with temperatures reaching 113 degrees. I decided I needed to get my car windows tinted darker than they were when I bought it from the factory.
My wife, who grew up in the Dallas area, mentioned that Bonnie & Clyde’s had been owned by the same family since the 70s and had a great reputation. So, I got in touch with Bonnie & Clyde’s and scheduled an appointment with the intention of simply getting my windows tinted darker.
When I arrived at their shop, I had the chance to speak with Oscar, who turned out to be an excellent teacher. Oscar took the time to explain everything in detail and even used a sun lamp to show me how different types of tint films would work on my Jeep. I learned a lot, not just about tint and ultraviolet light, but also about how each film option could block varying levels of heat. Importantly, Oscar didn’t pressure me into any decisions; he wanted to make sure I had all the information I needed to make the right choice.
In the end, I decided to go with the higher-end ceramic tint, and I also had the back windows tinted darker to increase privacy. Throughout the process, Oscar kept checking in on me and even gave me a cold bottle of water while I waited.
The results were amazing. The ceramic tint made an incredible difference in reducing the heat from the sun inside my vehicle. The installation was speedy, and the entire team at Bonnie & Clyde’s was very professional.
My next upgrade will be a new stereo with a larger screen, which will be easier on my aging eyes. Oscar even let me play with a demo unit during my visit, so I’ll definitely be going back to Bonnie & Clyde’s for that upgrade. I highly recommend Bonnie & Clyde’s for their exceptional service and products.
